Top Ten Biggest Lies of Hailemariam Desalegn On Al Jazeera Tv

The puppet Prime Minster of Ethiopian empire, Mr. Hailemariam Desalegn, gave an interview last week to the Al Jazeera Tv.  In his interview on "Talk to Al Jazeera", Hailemariam challenged with many important questions from Jane Dutton effectively but he lied all about realities in Ethiopia or the whole horn of Africa and international matters concerning Ethiopia.

Since Hailemariam is the living image of dead Meles Zenawi, it will be a matter of expecting honey from house fly confusion expecting him tell the truth to the world. He lied and denied every issue he faced but for today I want to select and discuss his TOP TEN BIGGEST LIES ON Al Jazeera Tv as below.


     1. LIE ABOUT POWER TRANSITION

Hailemariam tried to convince the world that the power transition followed the death of a dictator Zenawi has been very smooth and it will continue to be smooth as well. But in reality following the death of killer Zenawi, the question of power transition was the headache to EPRDF and still growing as a cancer cell inside. The assigning of three deputy prime minsters lately was a clear indication of the power transition struggle still going inside EPRDF camp. There was a clear struggle for power between pseudo-ethnic based parties of EPRDF right from the disappearance of Meles Zenawi till today. For more illustration of Hailemariam's lie we can consider the case of OPDO and their question and dissatisfaction with Hailemariam in palace.

In the power transition struggle TPLF, OPDO and ANDM were struggled with one another to be in the  position of Hailemariam. As time goes on due to external expectations of some body must be in position, from these three groups TPLF and ANDM showed more common enmity towards OPDO than towards each other and decided to use SEPDF as a shield and keep to dominate the power through puppet Prime minster and they did it of course for the time being. There fore how on earth this kind of shameful power transition stated as smooth by the puppet prime minster ? Shame on you Hailemariam Desalegn.

Hailemariam got the position not representing even his party SEPDF, but as a faithful puppet for the advantage of some TPLF/ANDM cooperating for mutual benefit and out casting OPDO from the power game. But the fire is still burning and the struggle between EPRDF gangsters are at the place and the final result is unknown for the time being. In all these realities Hailemariam tried to tell us on international media as he supposed to do it just only on ETV, where to lie is a must operation to wait on power for himself.

     2. LIE ABOUT MUSLIMS PROTEST IN THE COUNTRY

The Ethiopian Muslims coordinated peaceful protest broke out in the country after the government's intervention in the religious affairs. Hailemariam denied both the governmnets intervention in their religious affairs and the number of Muslims asking the freedom of religion. It is very surprising that Hailemariam stated the questions of the Many million Ethiopian Muslims as a question of minority. In fact the majority of the Ethiopian Muslims are still demanding their religious freedom. He also denied the governments intervention in their religious affairs. In reality, the assigning of EPRDF cadres as Muslim leaders was the pick of the intervention in their religious matters. Hailemariam also indicated the government is handling the Muslims protest properly but in fact the government is killing the peaceful protesters and throwing many into jail.

     3. LIE ABOUT PROBLEMS FROM ETHNIC DIVERSITY

Hailemariam said because of Ethiopian constitution properly addressed ethnic issues are no more source of conflict in the country. In reality, since the killer regime in Ethiopia favors minorities and facilitate conflict between ethnic groups by helping one to attack the other, In Ethiopia there is still ethnic based conflicts on the ground. The government of Ethiopia, that Hailemariam is speaking for, celebrated the devastating conflict between Borana and Gari after the government cadres were the direct catalysts of the conflict. The government is trying to aggravate differences between the same ethnic groups and caused conflict in many places across the country in addition to the conflicts between different ethnic groups facilitated directly by government agents. In this case, The Oromo are the first targeted people by late Zenawi's or Hailemariam's government, that encourage the killing and land over takes of others against the Oromo people. This is part of eradicating the Oromo people from the horn of Africa if possible as the continuation of Menelik's policy.

     4. LIE ABOUT WHY ETHIOPIANS FLEE THE COUNTRY

For the question he got from, Jane Dutton, about why thousands of Ethiopians are fleeing the country, Hailemariam fooled himself but not others by answering the cause is not political but economical. In reality, the whole world know many thousands are fleeing the country because of political crisis but not because of  unemployment majorly. It is also clear that the political unrest and unemployment is interconnected with one another in horn of Africa's case including an Ethiopian empire.

The economic problem in the country is the direct effect of political repressions in many parts of the empire. Oromia, the resourceful country in the horn is still suffering economical problem as well because of political problems for more than a century. Oromia the supposed to be heaven on Earth for her children is crying for help because of the political crisis in the horn but not really due to lack of natural resources. While others are enjoying life with the resource of Oromia, children of Oromia are still harassed, killed, imprisoned by the Ethiopian government. Oromia's children are fleeing their land because of they couldn't live in their home land because of oppression. Hailemariam ! many thousands in exile are not there for job, rather your party denied them the right to live in their own home land peacefully. There fore, in general people are fleeing the country because of all rounded and harsh political repression of EPRDF in power.

     5. LIE ABOUT POLITICAL OPPOSITION THAT ARE LANGUISHING IN JAIL

It is really shame on Hailemariam Desalegn, since the world knows the fact that many thousands of innocent Oromo intellectuals, politicians, farmers, students, artists, activists, journalists, and others in the empire are suffering in prison. The reason why many are thrown to prison is just only related to the political oppostion groups activities. Many thousands of Oromos are forced to lead life in Weyane's prison related to OLF weather they have some activities in the organization or not. Being an Oromo is understood as being an OLF for many and they are sentenced to from life in prison to many years prison sentence and even many faced death penalty. From the Ethiopian empire bloggers, journalists, opposition party leaders are languishing in jail under the awareness of the international medias. All these have been denied by Puppet Hailemariam Desalegn. For years Weyanes kangaroo court sentenced innocents not according to rule of law as Hailemariam lied on Al Jeezera but innocents like Bekele Gerba  and others around 25,000 Oromos sitting in Weyanes prison for no crime and many others from the empire.

     6. LIE ABOUT LAND GRAB IN ETHIOPIA

Hailemariam tried to explain that, the open savanna land where there is no resident, is given to investors. In reality many places specially in Oromia including around our capital Finfinne, and southern nations, many thousands of indigenous people are forced  out their land by force and their land were taken by others almost for free. Even though Hailemariam lied the matter, but the issue of land grabbing is the continuous issue in the country. Investors are also surprised how the possibility of getting land from Ethiopia is cheap, easy and harsh towards the indigenous people. Due to land grabbing many lost their home and some even their life while the puppet prime minster denied it at all. It is so funny to hear him saying "No land grab in the country at all".

     7. LIE ABOUT RELOCATION OF INDIGENOUS PEOPLE FROM THEIR HOME

Hailemariam said openly that there is no farmer, or pastoralist snatched his/her land and relocated. But the truth is that out of many factors that increased starvation in the empire, one is that the government's evil deed in relocating people from their land and causing many to go to cities. Many relocated with out their interest to places where there is no sufficient facilities. Due to discomfort with facility, administration, and social services   in the new areas the relocated people chosed to migrate in to nearby cities and humanitarian crisis has been the resulted.

     8. LIE ABOUT THE USE OF INTERNATIONAL AID AS A TOOL OF REPRESSION

Hailemariam tried to tell us earlier or now Ethiopia has never used aid for political reason. He stated every citizen is eligible for any kind of aid that comes from international bodies. Even though he tried to misinform the matter, thanks to responsible international groups showed the reality to the world, the fact is really clear and known. The Ethiopian government has used and is using the international aid as an important tool of repression by the government across the Ethiopian empire. Hailemariam ! please say the truth, only EPRDF party memebres and connected citizens are eligible for many kinds of aid your government is collecting and following the same pattern during your dead lord.

     9. LIE ABOUT OGADEN

As the Oromo people are struggling for their own free nation, Oromia, the Ogaden people are struggling for self determination. Since the world know that the recent negotiation between ONLF and government of Ethiopia is failed due to the precondition set by EPRDF in the process, Desalegn said there hasn't been any precondition. As many are trying to make Oromo an Ethiopian, EPRDF tried to make Ogaden an Ethiopian before everything in the negotiation. This shows the cause for the failure of the negotiation is Weyane not ONLF.

     10. LIE ABOUT PEACE PROCESS WITH ERITREA

Hailemariam tried to indicate the missing link between peace and the Ethio-Eritrea relation is just only Asmera's government. He said that only the Eriteran government is against peace in the relation between the two countries while Ethiopia is always ready for peace. He even said, he is ready to go to Eritrean capital and negotiate with Mr. Isaiyas Afewerki. In reality, he didn't know that even Ethiopia asked to change the venue of football match between Ethiopia and Eritrea national teams. This showed how much he is too far from knowing everything going on in the Ethiopian new Administration. He know nothing weather Ethiopia is ready to peaceful negotiation with Eritrea or even Ethiopia is serious towards Eritrean and decided to request for the change of venue for football match between the two country.
