They are coming home- in large numbers. Ex-OLF members who spent years in TPLF detention cells, who during their painful time found their ways to Kenya, Somali, Djibouti, Sudan, Yemen ... and finally settled in Western countries on the basis of their fear for their lives. These guys are now marching home in large number, it is almost like exodus. It appears that their FEAR of TPLF had disappeared. Who would have thought one day these OLF guys call TPLF a democratic government, just like president Obama did last week? One might speculate these have happened for three reasons:
- TPLF is changed, become democratic and accommodate political differences.
- The diaspora elements, due to relentless effort by TPLF to lure them to come back home, have changed their minds and finally fallen to the trap of TPLF.
- Life in the Western world has changed them, and forced them to look back home.
As these ex- OLF members come home to buy land from TPLF lets remind them few things.
Dear EX- OLF members:
- You have now officially surrendered to an enemy. At these important juncture of history, lets remind you now that OPDO is a clean winner and you are a loser. You are in fact surrendering to an enemy that you in the past undermined and called with all negative names such as GOOBANAA, GALTUU, MAXXANNEE, NYAAPHA etc. For the rest of your life on this planet, the Oromo nation will remember you as deserters of Oromo national struggle. I therefore congratulate you on being a neo- Gobana that you used to call OPDO.
- It is also important to remind you that the hard earned money that you give to TPLF is going to be used against the very people you come from. It will be used by TPLF to destroy the Oromo national struggle. It will be used to keep more Oromo nationals in jails throughout the empire.
- TPLF doesn't have an iota of land in Oromia. The land that they sell to you is taken away from a poor farmer whose kids are going to starve.
-By buying a land from where an Oromo farmer is displaced, you have taken part in the destruction of Oromo family, Oromo culture and Oromo heritage.
- You have also helped in legitimizing the displacement of Oromo farmers in the name of development.
- You have also consciously stepped on the corpses of those Oromo youth who were massacred by TPLF as they opposed the displacement of their fellow Oromos.
- My great concern through is what you are going to do when you go back to your diaspora country.
Are you going to tell other fellow Oromos to come back home or do you keep low profile? Are you going to lie that you are still supporting the Oromo national struggle or would you come clean and tell them the reality? You know such double life has claimed the lives of thousands of Oromo nationals.
Finally, as you enjoy your diaspora week here in Oromia, lets remind you that there many eyes watching your every foot steps.
